An SCR report alleged that on 5/2/23 at approximately 6:30 PM, the mother and the father were impaired on unknown drugs while caring for the 1-year-old subject child and 3-month-old sibling. The mother left the motel room and the father fell asleep, leaving the drugs accessible to the children. As a result, the child was able to access and ingest fentanyl and overdosed.
