The cause of death was determined to be "Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication in Setting of Co-Sleeping with Adult in Adult Bed" and the manner as "Homicide". The pathologist states, "It is not clear how methamphetamine made its way to the body, but regardless of whether it was neglect or intentional exposure, the manner of death is best classified as homicide."
